How does it work?
It’s quite simple, really. Each session is tailored to suit your needs at any given time. You choose the location and time (no referral required) and all you need to bring is an open mind, we’ll do the rest in, and post, session.
Psychology is like having a personal trainer for your mind, helping you create habits to improve your mental fitness and resilience. You’ll be provided evidence-based strategies to improve your thinking, actions, physical symptoms and emotional wellbeing.

Because - let's face it - investment into yourself is a big thing and you want to ensure you have the right clinician fit. A discovery call is a free 10 minute phone appointment which allows you to ask any questions and gain an understanding of how The Mother Cup may suit you.
Initial Appointment
60 minute session
$245*
The goal of the initial appointment is to assess and understand you better, determine your goals and develop a treatment plan to support you. This hour-long session can occur in whatever format will work for you - online (Telehealth allows us to connect into you wherever you are in the world), or within our Goodwood or Rose Park consulting rooms (they’re beautiful and comfortable).
Standard Appointments
50 minute session
$225*
The frequency and agenda for follow-up sessions will be different for every individual and will be largely determinant on your current situation and your goals. These appointments can occur in clinic, at home, online, or even out in nature (light exercise/nature and therapy in one - yes please).
*Services are eligible for a $96.65 - $121.35 (currently in the 24/25 FY) Medicare rebate with a GP referral through the Medicare Better Access Initiative for up to 10 sessions per calendar year. Home visits incur an additional $25 surcharge, however the returned Medicare rebate is higher for these visits meaning the out-of-pocket expense is similar to an in-clinic session. Those eligible for a Medicare safety net threshold rebate incur a much higher rebate also.
